Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Vision Ultra for personal or professional use?

Both! Any small or large rodent breeder will benefit from the Vision Ultra. However, if you’re comparing the Vision Ultra to the VersaRack for professional use, we recommend the Vision Ultra.

Do you still sell your original rodent racks?

Yes! Our classic Vision Racks are still available for purchase! Vision Ultra may be the “updated version” of our rodent racks, but the VersaRack is still an affordable and effective option for rodent and reptile breeders!

Do I have to buy Vision Tubs separately?

You can order tubs separately, but you don’t have to! When choosing your Vision Ultra system, you can select a pre-configured package with a specified number of tubs, or get as many as you need.

Can I use store-bought bins instead of Vision Tubs?

We do not recommend store-bought bins because tubs must be 3.5″ or 5.37″ tall to fit snugly on the rack. A bin too tall won’t fit between the shelves and a bin too short won’t be secure and your rodents will likely escape.

Is the Vision Ultra for reptile breeding, too, or just rodents?

Currently, the Vision Ultra is only intended for breeding rats, mice, and other small mammals. A reptile breeding option is in the works, but a release date is TBD. If you’re a reptile breeder, check out our Vision Reptile Racks.
