Mouse Breeding Racks with Shelves

First are the mouse racks with one-piece solid stainless steel shelves. These shelves act as lids for the tubs below which can easily slide in and out.

Important Breeding Rack Features

One-Piece Shelf

Vision Products rodent rack shelf

The one-piece shelf is the cornerstone of this design. The shelf is made from a thick sheet of stainless steel. This makes it much more durable than wire mesh. The hex pattern is punched out of the sheet and there are no welded seams or joints.

The hex pattern provides the most airflow without sacrificing any strength. In fact, this shelf will withstand years of use and loose food dumping on it.

Shielded Water Bottle Hole

Mice and other rodents will chew on anything and everything you don’t want them to chew on. How many of us have learned the hard way that if it can be chewed on, it will be?

With our design, you don’t have to worry about soggy bedding and wet mice. Plus, you don’t have to get a glass bottle to avoid the problem.

Accessory Rail

The one-piece molded ABS plastic shelves that the tubs sit on have an accessory rail on all four sides. The accessory rail allows you to mount anything you need to the side of your rack. For example, we have a water bottle holder that slides onto the rail and keeps your water bottle in place.

Speaking of water. We’re developing a complete gravity-fed water system for our new rodent racks. Until they’re available to the public, you can get our water drinking valve clips that are compatible with these hex pattern shelves. The clips work with every rodent water system we have tested.

Locking Wheels

You put that rack where you wanted it, but now you need to get to that outlet behind it. Not a problem! Just unlock the front wheels and roll it out of the way.

Of course, if you want to reach through the rack to get to that outlet, we do offer adjustable-height feet. In all seriousness though, these can be nice if your rack is on an uneven surface.

Rust Resistant Materials

Nearly everything on the rack is made from stainless steel, ABS plastic, and galvanized steel. This means you can roll it out onto your driveway and hose it down.

It also means it will last for years of use.

Shop Shelf Racks

Below we’ve listed our mouse breeding racks that come with the shelves. We currently offer two sizes: A shorter one with 5 levels and one with 7 levels. The V-35S breeding tubs for this rack have a 15-quart volume.

These breeding racks provide your mice plenty of room to thrive in our quality tubs and keep them protected using our shelves. If you have any questions about our mouse breeding racks, please contact us.

Mouse Breeding Racks with Tubs & Lids

We also offer a different take on rodent breeding racks with our rodent lids. Each tub in the rack has a one-piece stamped stainless steel lid. Much like the rest of our products, we design them for safety and longevity.

Features

There is some overlap with the features of the one-piece shelf racks, but we will go through all the features and make some comparisons along the way.

One-Piece Lid

Like the shelf, the rodent lids are made from a single piece of thick stainless steel, so they’re durable and rust-proof. Unlike a wire lid, they won’t easily bend. You also don’t have to worry about wires breaking loose, creating gaps in the lid.

One of the many advantages of our rodent lid over a traditional wire lid is that it creates a better seal with the top of the tub so that your mice don’t escape.

Ample Airflow

Mice, like other rodents, tend to give off a lot of heat. Because of that, we make sure to space our shelves far enough to allow plenty of air movement between the shelves.

The lids themselves also improve ventilation with the hex pattern. This design provides more strength and airflow than any other pattern.

Built-in Food Trough

Our lids have a built-in food trough that keeps the food from scattering and makes it easily accessible to the mice.

Shielded Water Bottle Hole

Just like our shelves, the water bottle hole is surrounded by stainless steel to prevent your water bottle from getting chewed on.

Locking Wheels

Don’t worry about your rack being stuck in one place once it’s set up. Our racks come standard with locking casters that allow you to get at those outlets or move the rack for cleaning or any other reason.

Rust-Resistant Materials

We build our breeding racks entirely from rust-resistant materials like ABS plastic, stainless steel, and galvanized steel. You can clean it with your garden hose for years and it will not rust or corrode.

Shop Rodent Lid Racks

Our mouse breeding racks come with V-35S tubs and come in four different heights. Each tray can hold two tubs.

Below we listed our mouse breeding racks, which come with tubs and lids. They provide your mice and other rodents with plenty of room to thrive in, while our quality tubs keep them protected using our lids.

We fabricate our lids using only safe methods and by using a single piece of stainless steel, which makes them stronger and more durable than ever!
