  • Large Bearded Dragons (over 20 inches) should have a space of 100 gallons or more. See our Vision Cage Model 422 or above.

Baby Bearded Dragon Enclosures

These Vision Cages provide plenty of room for baby beardies to roam, hide, and get acclimated in their new home.

Note: Baby beardies grow rather quickly and you may have to size up its enclosure sooner than you’d like.

Some handlers will get an adult-sized enclosure first to avoid the cost and hassle of buying larger ones in the future. (More options below)

Adult Bearded Dragon Enclosures

We recommend these enclosures for the general juvenile to adult bearded dragon being kept as long-term pets.

Husbandry Tips for Bearded Dragons

Humidity

The ideal humidity level for a bearded dragon is around 30-40%

Because bearded dragons are native to arid climates, low humidity is important. Vision Cages have built-in vents which help regulate moisture in the enclosure.

Temperature

For the most comfortable enclosure, your beardie should have access to three different temperature zones: A cool side, a warm side, and a hot spot for basking.

Cool Side Warm Side Basking Spot
Baby 85 95-100 105-110
Juvenile 80-85 95 100-105
Adult 75-80 90-95 95-100

Accessories for Inside the Enclosure

Bearded dragons are ample climbers, so we recommend including a branch or log in the tank.

You’ll also need some bowls and a hide or two. Offer fresh food and water daily in our HDPE bowls, and put a hide on each side of the enclosure so your bearded dragon can cool down and relax.

Also, we recently added reptile rocks to our product line, which help you create the realistic habitat that you and your dragon desire!
