Vision Cage Model 734 - Classic Gray for pythons

Python Enclosures for Hobbyists and Breeders

Our python enclosures can host many snakes like Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Pythons, and Ball Pythons. Each enclosure is a one-piece molded HDPE construction that will last for decades! This durability and security is the primary reason that our cages can hold these larger, stronger snakes.

Do you need a Python enclosure for at-home or display purposes?

Our snake enclosures range in size, so you can have the perfect set-up for your snakes. Vision Cages are also stackable, so you can fit multiple cages in a confined space, without sacrificing the comfort of your python(s).

Do you plan on having multiple Pythons?

Since pythons are generally secluded animals, you should never have more than one living in the same enclosure. This is especially true for Burmese and Reticulated Pythons, as they need space to stretch out their long bodies.

To help with this, we’ve designed our enclosures to be stackable on top of one another. This design saves you space without sacrificing the comfort of your pythons.

Do you plan on breeding pythons?

Our secure tub and racking system would be beneficial for you. Vision Snake Racks are designed for security, adaptability, and ease of use. Plus, our simple and efficient designs are trusted by thousands of snake breeders around the world!

Burmese Python Cages & Enclosures

Burmese Python

We’ve been building top-of-the-line Burmese Python enclosures for more than 20 years.

These snake cages conserve are large enough to comfortably fit a Burmese python, but their simple design and stackability make them great for housing one or multiple snakes in areas with limited room. These python enclosures also come with impact-resistant sliding glass doors for durability and easy access.

NOTE: Burmese Pythons are one the world’s largest snakes. So as an adult, it will need a very spacious cage. We recommend contacting one of our experts to help you choose the proper enclosure.

Burmese Python Temperature

Another factor to consider is the heating and lighting for your Burmese Python. These snakes are native to tropical rainforests and grasslands, so you must emulate that environment.

We design our snake enclosures for optimal temperature control, lighting, ventilation, and humidity, so your python has the proper habitat. For example, you can maintain the ideal temperature gradient for a Burmese Python habitat:

  • Hot Side: 85°-89°F
  • Cool Side: 80°-84°F
  • Basking Spot: 90°-92°F
  • Nighttime Temperature: 75°-80°F

Burmese Python Humidity

Our Python enclosures also make it easy to maintain humidity. Since Burmese Pythons live in tropical rainforests and grasslands, they require relatively high humidity. For a Burmese Python enclosure, the humidity level needs to be somewhere between 50-80%.

Reticulated Python Cages & Enclosures

Reticulated Python

Reticulated Pythons grow very large, are native to tropical regions, and can occasionally display aggression, so having the proper Python enclosure is vital.

In fact, male Reticulated Pythons usually grow to around 10-14 feet long. Females grow larger still, around 13-16 feet, with some getting even larger. Snakes of this size will need a very spacious Python enclosure.

So, whether you plan to house 1 Reticulated Python, or you plan to breed many snakes, we recommend reaching out to our expert team to help find the best solution for you!

Reticulated Python Temperature

Again, consider the heating and lighting of your Reticulated Python cage. The proper Reticulated Python temperature gradient is listed below:

  • Hot Side: 85°-90°F
  • Cool Side: 80°-82°F
  • Basking Spot: 92°-95°F
  • Nighttime Temperature: 74°-78°F

Reticulated Python Humidity

Much like the Burmese, Reticulated Pythons prefer moderate to high levels of humidity around 50% to 70%.

Achieving this environment is simple with the built-in and additional features on our Vision Cages.

Also, remember that snakes are very secluded and like relaxing in dark, cooler areas. We recommend adding a snake bowl or hide to help them feel safe and comfortable. Also, having a water bowl in the enclosure can help maintain the humidity level.
